NORDSEE App – Questions & Answers
We reward you with 25 Fish Loyalty Points for each successfully* referred friend.
To do so, go to the app's "Benefits" - "Promotions" section and select "Refer Friends". You can refer as many friends as you like, and the number of your Fish Loyalty Points will increase with each successfully referred friend.
Simply click on the link and send the message with the individually generated code via email, WhatsApp, or SMS to as many friends as you wish. They can then register in the app using the provided code.
- A friend is considered successfully referred when they register with your code and complete their first order using the NORDSEE app.
Attention: You can refer a maximum of 10 friends!
If you have any questions or difficulties within the app, you can directly contact our customer service through the "Help & Contact" button. They will get in touch with you promptly. You can find the button under "More" in the app.
Can't see the button yet? - Then visit your app store directly and update your app.
- If an update is offered to you directly in your app, please proceed with it.
- Please check directly in the App Store if you have the latest update installed.
- If an update didn't help, uninstall the app and download it again (remember your email address and password).
- If that didn't help, try restarting your phone completely.
- If the issue still persists, please send us a detailed description (including screenshots if possible) via email to nordsee(@)no-spam.nordsee.com, along with your Member ID, your phone model (e.g., iPhone 11), and operating system (iOS or Android) so that we can assist you.
The selection of language has an impact on the coupons and offers displayed in the app. For example, if you reside in Austria, it is recommended to choose the language "Austrian" to see coupons that are valid for redemption in Austria. If you select "German" instead, you may not see the appropriate coupons since German coupons cannot be redeemed in Austria.
- Please make sure to click on the "I'm here in 10 minutes" button before picking up your food for every Click & Collect order in the app.
- Immediately after that, you should receive an order confirmation via email.
- If you encounter any further issues, please feel free to approach our staff at the restaurant.

If your desired coupon is not available for order via the "Order Now" button below the respective coupon, you can still redeem it via the "Coupons" category in Click & Collect.
If you have placed a Click & Collect order and it may not have been received at the store, first make sure that you have completed the order and selected the correct store. Additionally, please check if you have checked in your order. Only then will it be displayed at the selected location.
If everything is in order and the issue persists, the store staff will surely be able to assist you. Alternatively, you can also send an email to our customer service (nordsee(@)no-spam.nordsee.com) including your order number, the store location, the amount paid, and the items purchased. They will get back to you with an appropriate solution.
Check whether the QR code is too close to the scanner of the cash register or too far away! In addition, it could be that your cell phone display is set too bright or too dark. If the scanner still cannot read your QR code, please inform the colleagues on site!
If you forgot to scan your personal QR code or the scanner did not work, it is possible to enter the 16-digit code from the receipt manually and get the fish afterwards. To do this, you just need to click on the QR code in the upper right corner of your app home page. With the help of the button "Manual entry" you can now enter your fish.
Please note that the code is only valid for 48 hours. After that, no more fish can be collected for this purchase.

By redeeming your collected Fishpoints, you can save even more. You earn Fish Points with every purchase in-store (don't forget to have your QR code scanned at the cashier) or through Click & Collect. Additionally, you can earn Fish Points by referring the app to others, on your birthday (if your profile is complete), or by completing your profile within the app.
You can also redeem your rewards with Click & Collect. Simply add the reward to your cart or scroll to the left in the navigation under "Order" and select the reward.
To redeem coupons, rewards, and promotions, you need to open them in the app. You have two options:

In the restaurant: Open the app and go to the "Benefits" section. Click on the respective coupon, reward, or promotion, and you will see all the information. Scan the QR code of the coupon/reward/promotion at the cashier when making your payment.

For a Click & Collect order in the app: Click on the "Order" button. In the menu, on the left side, you will find the promotions, rewards, and coupons. Simply select and add them to your cart. Alternatively, you can first create your order and then add a coupon or reward to your cart before making the payment.
To add a coupon to your Click & Collect order, start your order as usual via the "Order" button in the app.
Now you can select your favorite coupons under the "Coupons" tab in the navigation on the left, add them to your shopping cart and complete your order.
Alternatively, you can also add a coupon or premium to your order in the shopping cart.

The creation of a personal account via email address, Google, Facebook or Apple ID account and personal password is necessary if you want to use all functions. This allows you to order via the app, use your coupons and all promotions via the app and collect fish.
To process your order as quickly and conveniently as possible, we offer PayPal, Giropay or credit card as payment options.
To view your current and past orders, you have two options:

You can open them in the app. Simply tap on the "ORDER" button and then select "HISTORY." This will display all your current and previous purchases, including restaurant information and order numbers.

In the NORDSEE app, you can also find the category "YOUR FISH ACCOUNT" under the "MORE" tab. There, you can also view your order history.
If you enjoy and frequently order the same menu or snack at our restaurant or for takeout, you can easily reorder one of your previous orders by using the "Reorder" button. This saves you time and allows you to enjoy your delicious seafood dish more quickly.

No, an internet connection is required to scan your QR code on your phone. It becomes available once you open the app. Similarly, redeeming coupons, rewards, or vouchers is not possible without an active network connection. However, it is possible to redeem coupons by using a screenshot, allowing you to use them even without an internet connection.
If you have not received your Fish Loyalty Points due to a poor internet connection, please contact our customer service at nordsee(@)no-spam.nordsee.com. They can credit your fish points retrospectively if you provide them with your profile information and the receipt of your purchase.
