The mixed herb seasoning for boiled fish is a composition of carrots, parsnip, pepper, juniper berries, mustard, pimenta, bay leaf, clove, dill, leek and celery. It lends the boiled fish a pleasant hint of pimenta and juniper berry.
Boil the seasoning with 1.5 l water, a little white wine and lemon juice for 10 minutes. Place the fish in the mixture and leave to simmer.
